Capons are full-breasted with tender, juicy, flavorful meat that is well suited to roasting. Capons are a good choice to feed a dinner party or even a small Thanksgiving gathering. Capons can be roasted like any chicken, but due to size will take longer.
How to cook Capon
1. Preheat the oven at 180-200°C
2. Place the capon on a large tray with the breast-side up and tie the legs.
3. Brush the capon with olive oil or melted butter.
4. Roasting the capon at 180-200°C for 1-1.30Hrs. until the juices between the legs run clear.
For better taste, can add more Seasoning in the cavity and stuff it with aromatics lemon, thyme, onion, carrot, celery, garlic, or parsley.
